Contracted heat treatment for automotive parts at Shizuoka 3rd Plant was introduced on a front page of The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun dated 25/7.

The 3rd Plant has a floor of 900㎥and there was installed “multiple line” such as automated line with robot and heat treatment. Currently launched experimental processing and planning to launch contracted processing business in 2023. It achieves reduction of semi-finished inventory by makes possible for an integrated production machining to heat treatment and it will lead to decarbonization.
The heat treatment coil uses AM coil molded with a metal 3D printer of a group company, TK Engineering Co., Ltd.,.
