From September 28 to October 1, 2026, I traveled to India on business to visit local companies, universities, and educational institutions.
At Ace Micromatic Group (ACE), I toured the factory, met with the founder, and discussed the introduction of next-generation CVJ machining equipment. ACE also hosted four individuals we had recruited as interns. Furthermore, we held discussions regarding the future acceptance of interns graduating from NITTE University and GTTC.
At GTTC, I toured the campus and exchanged views on accepting graduates and fostering future personnel exchanges.
At NITTE University, I attended the opening ceremony of the "Center of Excellence." Following remarks by Consul General Nawata of the Consulate-General of Japan in Bengaluru, President Shimomura delivered a congratulatory address as a representative of Japanese companies. I also visited the School of Dentistry to discuss the manufacturing of dental implant components. We are currently exploring a collaborative approach to adopting AM (Additive Manufacturing) technology for these dental parts.
Additionally, I visited LAMINA—a casting manufacturer owned by the proprietor of NITTE University—where I toured the factory and exchanged views on future collaboration.
This business trip enabled us to deepen our partnerships with India across a wide range of areas, including equipment, human resources, industry-academia collaboration, and technology development. We intend to continue actively engaging with local companies and universities to drive new technological advancements and business expansion.
