From August 10 to 14, 2026, we visited NITTE University and the Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC) in India.
To mark our visit to NITTE University and GTTC, we presented a painting of Mount Fuji—a symbol of Japan—as a token of our appreciation for our ongoing relationship and our hope for future collaboration. Through this artwork, we aim to further strengthen our bonds of friendship and continue our exchanges in the fields of education and human resource development.
During the visit to NITTE University, our President, Yutaka Shimomura, was presented with a letter of appreciation. This honor recognized his contributions to the university's educational curriculum, made through his involvement in educational and research activities and the sharing of practical insights and professional advice.
We also had the opportunity to meet with nine students from the third cohort—scheduled to join our company in October 2026—and exchanged views on life in Japan and their future goals.
At GTTC, we exchanged ideas regarding the educational environment and initiatives for human resource development. We also met with the principal of the Japanese School in Bangalore to deepen our understanding of their educational programs and discuss potential future collaborations. Furthermore, we held productive discussions about future exchanges with a Karnataka state minister, a member of the legislative assembly, the Managing Director of GTTC, and the faculty and staff.
This visit reaffirmed the high level of motivation and keen interest in technology demonstrated by Indian students. We remain committed to strengthening our partnerships with educational institutions and promoting the development and recruitment of talent with a global perspective.
