Company history

1974 Established Takao Kogyo LLC. in Tobe-cho, Minami-ku, Nagoya.
Started production of Constant Velocity Joint (CVJ) of Industrial Machinery.
1976

Expanded and relocated the Plant to Meisho 1-chome Minato-ku, Nagoya.
1980 Changed corporation name to Takao Kogyo Co., Ltd.
1983 Relocated Headquarter Plant to Kawamachi 1-chome, Minato-ku, Nagoya.
1988 Relocated Headquarter Plant to Kusunoki 3-chome, Yatomi-shi, Nagoya.
1989 Started Automatic Line Producing for HUB Bearing (HUB).
 (Participated in the 2nd Generation HUB Project. Deployed automatic line equipments for new products.)
2000 Oct. Expanded the Headquarter 2nd Plant. Established Distribution Center.
Operation started in Kainan 1st Plant at 3-chome Gotoyama, Yatomi-shi, Nagoya.
2002 Aug. Started Automatic Line Producing for HUB. (The 3rd Generation HUB Project.)

2003 Mar.

Kainan 2nd Plant newly built.

Established NTK PRECION AXLE CORP. (Joint Venture) in North America.
2004 Mar. ISO14001(EMS) : Registered JSA's Audit.
2004 Jun. ISO9001(QMS) : Registered JSA's Audit.
2004 Aug. Kainan 3rd Plant newly built and operation started.
2004 Nov. Operation started at NTK PRECISION AXLE CORP. in Frankfort, IN. USA.
2005 Feb. Expanded Kainan 1st Plant and started producing Intermediate Axle.
2005 Jul.

Kainan South Plant newly built and operation started at Osaki Rokujyou-cho,
Yatomi-shi, Aichi prefecture.
Transferred Industrial Constant Velocity Joint (CVJ) production from NTN Co., Ltd, Kuwana Mfg.
Capital increased to 60million JPY.
2006 Sep. Started Ball screw Nuts Production
2006 Nov. Operation started at Okayama Plant.
2007 Nov. Expanded Headquarter Plant.
2008 Jan. Started cooperation of HUB turning "MONODUKURI (Manufacturing)" with Shanghai NTN.
2008 Jul. Expanded Kainan South Plant.
2008 Oct. Operation started at Okayama 2nd Plant.
2009 Nov. Acquired Dormitory Land in Yatomi-shi. Nagoya.
2010 Mar. Started Special High-Voltage Power Reception at Okayama Plant.
2010 Jun. Started High Frequency Heat Treatment Production Line at Kainan Plant.
2010 Nov. Started constructing Kainan 5th Plant.
2010 Dec. Established NTA PRECISION AXLE CORP. (joint venture) in USA.
2011 Feb. Kainan 5th Plant newly built and operation started.
2011 Jun. Operation started at NTA PRECISION AXLE CORP. in Carol Stream, IL, USA.
2012 Feb. Established NTPT Co., Ltd. (joint venture) in Thailand.
2013 Feb. Operation started at NTPT Co., Ltd. in Chonburi, Thailand.
2013 Mar. Newly built Okayama 3rd Plant.
2013 Jun. Started operation of Photovoltaic in Okayama Plant.
2014 Oct. Capital increased to 98million JPY.
2014 Dec. JISQ9001 (Aerospace) Quality Management System: JQA
2015 Dec. Operation started at Shizuoka Plant
2016 Feb. Started operation of Photovoltaic in Shizuoka Plant.
2016 Mar. Combined Kainan Plant and Kainan South Plant to been Kainan Plant.
2016 Aug. Expansion started at Kainan Plant.
2016 Dec. Expanded and operation started as New Kainan Plant.
2017 Feb. Started constructing Shizuoka 2nd Plant.
2017 Mar. Aichi dormitory newly built.
2017 Apr. Established the 2nd Plant of NTK PRECISION AXLE CORP. in USA.
2017 Sep. Shizuoka 2nd Plant newly built.
2018 Feb. Operation started at The 2nd Plant of NTK PRECISION AXLE CORP in Anderson, IN. USA.
2018 Sep. Started the 2nd term's constructing Okayama 2nd Plant.
2019 Mar. Okayama 2nd Plant newly built and operation strated (the 2nd term).
2020 Jun. Completed Special High-Voltage Power Reception in Shizuoka Plant.
2020 Aug. Operation started at Kainan 3rd Plant.
2021 Aug. Established TK Engineering Co., Ltd. (TKE)
2022 Apr. Started constructing Shizuoka 3rd Plant.
