1. Returning the profit of our technological pursuit to society
Takao Kogyo Co., Ltd. carries out the manufacturing process from materials to machining, heat treatment, polishing and to the final assembly (parts). For half a century, we have inherited and further sublimated the knowledge and experience necessary to create better products. One of our company's strength is that there's an environmental condition where our knowledge and experience are capable of producing the possibility of evolution.
Reducing Energy Loss and Pursuing Comfortable Things.
Many of our products, such as Constant Velocity Joint (CVJ) and Hub Bearings, are attracting people's attention as the keys to reducing the weight, compactness, energy saving and comfort of automobiles. We constantly research and develop new technologies to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy loss, and by absorbing dispersion in the manufacturing process to 1/1000 mm, we contribute to provide comfortable products of Automobile.

Quality improvement based upon SO9001/JISQ9100
"Creating Customer's Reliability on Quality" is our basic policy. We obtained ISO9001 in 2004 and JISQ9100 in 2014. Based on the quality control system in ISO9001, we have established a higher level of traceability and are promoting high-quality manufacturing that meets the needs of customers in the aircraft and space defense industry.

2. Utilizing Natural Energy and reduction of Energy Loss
In response to environmental problems such as global warming, we will promote the reduction of CO2 emissions and the utilization of natural energy. We will also try to work creating the human and earth friendly environment.
Installation of Solar Power Generation
We have started Solar Power Generation at Okayama Works in 2013, an additional installation in 2019, and Shizuoka Works in 2016.
The solar power generation performance in 2022 was 1,650,983kw at the Okayama Works and 1,642,999kw at the Shizuoka Works.
Solar Power Generation can greatly contribute to the realization of a carbon-free society because of no emission of carbon dioxide. In addition to simply reducing carbon dioxide, we are also considering initiatives to convert carbon dioxide emitted in the manufacturing process into energy and utilize it in order to realize a carbon-neutral society.

Energy Saving Measures of whole company
By promoting automation manufacturing, the number of operators in the plant is limited as minimum. We are also switching to more efficient electricity usage and LEDs. We have achieved a reduction in electricity usage of 11% (compared to 2021) by adopting new technology and by improving our production facility.
ISO14001
We have acquired ISO14001 in 2004. We recognize correctly the impact of our production activities of drive train parts for automobiles and industrial machinery on the environment. We are always thinking about energy saving, resource saving, disposal and recycling. We are striving for production with less impact on the environment and also promoting continuous improvement activities. We carry out environmental conservation activities in cooperation with the local community.

3. Realizing a society where everyone can enjoy peaceful mind and comfortable life.
We all recognize that ensuring a healthy and safe life is one of the most important things for the realization of a sustainable society, and we put priority on the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders.
Promotion of the local employment
We are promoting local hiring at each region. Okayama and Shizuoka plants, for instance, more than 90% of full-time employees are from each prefecture. We are also promoting the adoption of so-called U-turns and I-turns. By increasing employment opportunities in the local region, we will provide healthy and safe lives to people living in that region.
Maintaining a healthy working environment
We provide various assistance for activities that lead to interaction between employees. We also provide a good working environment, ensuring employee safety, and maintaining and improving health.
Regional contribution
We believe that revitalization of the region where our works are located is one of the essential elements for the healthy lives of our employees. We actively participate in local cleanup activities, participate in events such as fireworks displays and marathon events, and sponsor them to deepen our ties and connections. We would like to continue communication and carry out corporate activities closely to the region.
